Who doesn't act nestalgic over the new players from the Xmas 2005 group? Some of the best moments, back when GW was a fresh game still, came from this group. I miss it a lot when I look back on it.
Who doesn't miss:
- The good-ole Drok's arena?
- When necros could control about 20-30 minions instead of 12 max?
- When farming was awesome.
- When R/Mo was made for Asc to LA running... W/Mo was for everything (especially droks runs) and they costed 3-5k.
- every mission in proph being FULL of people to group with? It took about 2-5 minutes to start a group.
- Mesmer being one hell of a party member, but now they are only good for interrupting.

Times change. I'm sure we'll all have nostalgic moments when GW2 comes out too.

Funnily enough I still have screenshots of the xmas event of 2005.

I loved those days, the community was amazing - as you can see from the chat in my screenshots...

yah, now you see people cussing and fighting with eachother every 10 minutes. Too many people under the age recommendation for GW are playing this game and think they are "cool" for cussing and calling people names that normal people wouldn't say.
It is sad... very sad...

I so miss those days. But they're gone, and probably never coming back *sniff*

Although I don't miss having only one level 20 character XD

Adding to the list:
- when 1000k in storage meant you were filthy rich
- when Sup Absorb was both useful and worth something
- when HA was overrun by IWAY, but the meta was still flourishing
- when OoB Boon Prot was the best build in the game
- when the summit of PvE difficulty was keeping the king alive in THK
- when you had to have a PvE toon to play PvP (hat swaps!)
